Are leveling and lift kits interchangeable?
No. The intended stance, parts and vehicle application differ.
Does more height guarantee larger tires fit?
No. Tire shape, wheel width, offset and clearances must be considered together.
Where should the conversation start?
With the exact vehicle, current suspension and intended use.
Leveling changes the stance.
Many trucks sit higher at the rear when unloaded. A leveling kit addresses that front-to-rear difference. It is not a promise that a particular tire will fit.
A lift changes the system.
A suspension lift changes ride height using parts designed for a specific application. Kit contents vary. More height alone does not establish tire, brake or body clearance.
Choose around the daily job.
Consider garage access, entry height, everyday roads and the way the truck is loaded. Check the manufacturer’s instructions for the exact vehicle and existing modifications before ordering.
